A "killer" quote from the Former President of Sony/BMG Masterworks When I first got the job at BMG Classics I began looking into the options for perfectly preserving the "jewels in the crown" of the legendary RCA Living Stereo line. I wanted to utilize the SACD high definition playback and was also intrigued by the prospects of using the 5.1 surround to project the original 3 track masters across the front three speakers (most of these recordings were three track masters - left - right - & center... mixed later to two track stereo).
