The Studio
MACHINE ROOM
Our central machine room is the hub of all post-production at Soundmirror. It can interconnect and link highly specialized equipment to any of our studios, enabling us to meet the most demanding mixing/editing requirements.
The machine room is separately air conditioned and filtered to ensure the cool, smooth operation of sensitive equipment. Electricity is filtered, regulated and transformer isolated to offer the most stable power available. One of the benefits of the acoustically isolated central machine room is the ability to remotely locate noisy equipment away from the listening environment, allowing the engineer to hear greater detail at lower listening volumes. It also provides an exceptional flexibility in the choice of equipment, freeing the artist, producer, and engineer to make spur of the moment creative changes.
STUDIO B
Studio B is a stereo and 5.1 equipped production room. It is suitable for editing, mixing, and is also the control room for our voiceover studio. The monitors are B&W Matrix series powered by Threshold amplifiers.
STUDIO C
Studio C is our dedicated mastering room. It is equipped for stereo and 5.1 mastering with Dunlavy SC series speakers powered by Classe amplifiers and features a custom Crookwood 5.1 transfer desk.
STUDIO D
Stereo and 5.1 equipped Studio D features B&W Diamond series monitors powered by B&W amplifiers. It is larger than Studio B and can accommodate more clients comfortably. Studio D is also home to our SmartAV Elite console.
